Beauty Bus Foundation's 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award is being presented to Beauty Collection's Shawn Tavakoli.
In his continued support of Beauty Bus programs, Tavakoli has a goal of raising $100,000 in donations to support the Beauty Bus mission.
The Beauty Bus provides in-home beauty and grooming services free of charge to patients whose illness or condition prevents them from accessing a salon or spa—and their caregivers. The program also runs pop-up salons where patients and caregivers receive a variety of complimentary beauty and grooming services in a setting that promotes support and serenity. Additionally, the program gives complimentary Bags of Beauty filled with pampering products to remind patients and caregivers that they deserve to look and feel beautiful.
Beauty Bus provides its services through donations; so it is looking forward to the generous donations of supporters to help Tavakoli raise $100,000 for the organization.
Sponsors meeting a March 31 deadline can be included in the print invitation; though donations will continue to be accepted after this date, and sponsors may be included on beautybus.org and its social-media venues, etc., as well. Sponsorship packages range from $3,000 to $50,000. VIP tables are $2,500. The organization accepts donations of any size too.
The Beauty Bus Drive fund-raiser will take place Sunday, June 14. The Beauty Drive offers a family-friendly afternoon at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. Complimentary beauty stations of hair, nails, makeup, brows, a Kid’s Corner, an opportunity drawing and a fabulous silent auction will be available for all attendees. This year a special men's lounge for MAN-i-cures will be offered.
The Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented at the event. Tickets may be purchased online.
Beauty Bus believes that even in the face of life-threatening and chronic illness, men, women, children and their caregivers deserve dignity, hope and respite through grooming and beauty services and pampering products.
