LVMH’s beauty incubator Kendo is shaking up its leadership team. Starting January 2020, current senior vice president, global general manager Kristin Walcott will step up as Kendo’s new president. Walcott began her career at L’Oréal Paris, and later joined Sephora where she worked for seven years until 2014 when she stepped into her current role at Kendo.
Kendo is the small but powerful incubator behind many well-known celebrity brands such as Kat Von D, Marc Jacobs and Fenty Beauty. The company expertly partners with original celebrity-founded brands.
“Kristin has an unwavering and unparalleled dedication to beauty innovation, product quality and differentiated storytelling,” said David Suliteanu, CEO of Kendo. “As president, her brand-building acumen and global vision, as well as her talent for fostering strong leaders and teams, will be pivotal to Kendo’s continued success.”
Along with Walcott, two others will be rising in the ranks. Heather Fisher, who has been with Kendo since 2016, will be promoted to senior vice president of global marketing and will be overseeing the marketing functions for all brands in Kendo. Also, Elizabeth Hayes will be joining Fisher as a senior vice president of product strategy. Hayes will be in charge of all leading global product development and innovations within Kendo.
