To celebrate the launch of its Summer 2019 collection, last week Pixi Beauty created a lavish, multi-city experiential event called House of Glow (#PixiHouseOfGlow).
Held simultaneously in London, where skincare expert Caroline Hirons (@carolinehirons) co-hosted, and in Los Angeles, the event drew big names in the beauty influencer world. Ling K. Tang (@ling.kt), Gina Shkeda (@ginashkeda), Amena Khan (@amena) and Mariam Musa (@itsmariammusa) attended the London event; Jackie Hernandez (@makeupbyjh), Emily Sears (@emilysears), Johanna Maybelline Ortega (@jmaybs_), Jen Chae (@frmheadtotoe) and Josetty Hurtado (@josetty1) attended in Los Angeles.
House of Glow took place at The London Hotel in West Hollywood and a transformed space in the Fitzrovia neighborhood of London. Guests were treated to an immersive Pixi experience with a decked-out dream bathroom, personalized skin consults, signature cocktails and more exciting opportunities to try the new products and connect with the whole collection.
Summer 2019 marks the largest product launch in Pixi’s history, with more than 80 skus of skin care and color newness showcasing new and familiar ingredient stories. The launch included Bodytreats, further additions to the iconic Glow Tonic family, larger Hydrating Milky and Vitamin-C collections and a new line utilizing plant-based collagen.
“This season was all about creating unique and innovative formulations for a whole range of skin types,” said founder Petra Strand. “We’re playing with color textures and ingredients in ways we haven’t yet, to keep raising the bar.”
