Held on Sunday, March 3, in downtown Riverside, CA, the show brings together some of the most talented artists spanning hair and makeup.

Beauty Education Summit (BES) launches its inaugural show on Sunday, March 3, 2019, at the Riverside Municipal Theatre in downtown Riverside, CA. A one-day educational event bringing together some of the biggest hair and makeup educators and influencers in the industry, the show promises to teach, inspire and empower beauty professionals and enthusiasts on a plethora of new, practical techniques that they can implement on their clients. Plus, this fun-filled day will also feature lunch with music provided by DJ PJay, a model catwalk, an after party and a few surprises along the way.

Several well-known artists, including @Lalasupdos, @Rebeccataylorhair, @Paintedbyspencer, @Jillpowellglam, @Jayrua_glam, @Leysahairandmakeup, @Danielmbeauty and @Larackay, will take the stage throughout the day and share tips on the various techniques they've mastered over decades of combined experience. Spectators will learn the ins and outs of creative coloring; blonding curly, textured hair and balayage; maximizing your reach with viral hair transformations on social media; tape-in extension application and upstyling; working smarter not harder, hosted by Rebecca Taylor; and high-fashion celebrity and editorial makeup techniques for red-carpet-ready skin.

BES was founded by Tommie Rocha and Ashley Barnes, owners of Dollhouse Parlour established in 2009, and Breanna Armstrong, the director of social media and digital marketing for The Kirschner Group. The team saw a need for beauty education in the Inland Empire and founded Beauty Education Summit to reach their talented community and beyond. “We have handpicked each stylist and artist because we feel they break the mold and push the creative limits in our industry," Rocha says.

The event is sponsored by several companies, including Salon Centric, Redken, Livenation, RealHer and more. The show will also function as an important networking opportunity for aspiring beauty educators and students.

“We are so excited to blur the lines between the makeup and hair communities to bring an amazing group of influencers together for an educational event with a fun twist!” Armstrong says.
