Kopari Beauty Announces Jeremy Lowenstein as New CMO

This week, coconut-oil based brand Kopari Beauty has announced Jeremy Lowenstein as its new chief marketing officer. Lowenstein is focused on global brand strategy, which includes consumer-led digital and traditional marketing and innovation. He has previously held leadership roles at Estée Lauder Companies’ Aveda and Coty’s Sally Hansen--where he most recently served as global vice president of marketing and product development and managed a global relaunch that accelerated the brand’s market around the world.

Kopari Beauty was launched in 2015 and has since grown exponentially after private equity firm L Catterton, whose portfolio includes beauty brands such as Bliss, Dr. Wu and Elemis, invested in January 2017. Sourcing pure and nutrient-rich coconut oils, Kopari continues its rapid expansion and growing fan base.

Bryce Goldman, CEO and co-founder of Kopari, said, “We are thrilled that Jeremy is joining the Kopari family, as we look ahead to a year with ambitious growth objectives. We are committed to investing in the right talent to help us reach our goals, and Jeremy brings more than 16 years of proven success as a skilled brand builder and organizational leader. With expertise in leading digital strategy and content development for household brand names, his prowess and deep industry insight will help further cement Kopari as a leading digitally native brand with an expanding brick-and-mortar retail presence.”

“I have been a personal fan of Kopari and admired the brand’s impressive growth since its launch in 2015,” Lowenstein said. “It is an honor to be part of a company that is leading the natural beauty and personal care space both on and offline, and I am confident that, together, we will continue to innovate, expand and plant our flag in all things coconut.”
