Manufacturer rep firm The Freeman Group has formed a new partnership with American International Industries (AII), manufacturer of multiple brands of consumer and professional beauty products. The Freeman Group now represents AII and their newly merged Spilo brand of products in the western United States.
“The partnership between American International Industries and The Freeman Group combines a leading manufacturer of beauty products with a best-in-class representation group with long-established relationships in the OTC, specialty beauty boutique, multicultural beauty, nail, and mass market fields,” says Nicole Freeman, principal of The Freeman Group.
“We are very excited to have Nicole and her team working to represent both the former Spilo brands and our AII brands to customers. With their relationships and focus on Spilo customers in the West, we feel it is a winning combination and great way to bridge the transition from Spilo to American International. They spend a lot of time focusing on service with these customers who bought from Spilo for so many years. The attention to detail and frequent customer contact is exactly what they need,” says Misty Becker, director of sales at AII.
AII acquired Spilo and its portfolio of products earlier this year, which included well-known brands such as ColorMode, Master Barber, Mehaz Professional and more. AII has a vast portfolio of beauty brands for men and women, including Ardell, Body Drench, China Glaze, Clubman-Pinaud, Gelaze, IBD, Punky Colour, Woody’s and Youthair, to name just a few.
