Denman, the British company famous for the D3 and other professional tools, has appointed British Hairdressing Hall of Fame member Paul Stafford as its Global Creative Director.
“I treasure the support Denman has given me over the years so I am delighted to officially represent the company at an international level,” said Stafford, who has, on multiple occasions, performed for Denman at the Alternative Hair Show at London’s Albert Hall. “Denman has always been at the heart of the industry, providing the best tools a stylist could wish for at every level of the craft. It’s fantastic to be part of a brand that prioritizes excellence and innovation to the benefit of our industry.”
Stafford will now lead Denman’s creative contribution to the beauty industry by supporting the company’s education-based endeavors, including the mentorship of Sam Carpenter, the winner of Denman’s Stage Star competition in 2017. Additionally, Paul will supervise Denman’s forthcoming global ambassador program, the Denman Global Collective.

As Denman reaches their 80th anniversary this year, Paul Stafford adds his reputation to an already-dense corporate legacy that includes endorsements by such hairstyling icons as Vidal Sassoon, Andrew Collinge and Paul Mitchell. Stafford, who currently holds the title of Hair magazine’s Salon Stylist of the Year and has won Northern Irish Hairdresser of the Year three times, travels to the United States next month to represent Denman at the IBS Show in New York City. There, he will deliver his inaugural IBS seminar on the Craft of Precision Cutting. Next, Paul will represent Denman at Cosmoprof Bologna, where he will formally launch the Denman Global Collective. He is then expected to co-create and shoot a new Denman collection with Lee Mitchell.
