L’Oréal Paris has announced the addition of a rising star to their roster of celebrity ambassadors. American actress Aja Naomi King is now representing the cosmetic brand adding to its diverse and impressive ambassador list, which includes A-list celebrities such as Eva Longoria, Karlie Kloss, Julianne Moore, Helen Mirren and Jane Fonda. Born in Southern Californa, the actress studied fine arts at University of California, Santa Barbara and drama at Yale University’s School of Drama. She landed her breakthrough role alongside Viola Davis, playing Michaela Pratt on ABC’s murder-legal show “How to Get Away With Murder” in 2014.
As a girl watching her mother apply makeup as a part of her daily routine, King says she grew to love cosmetics at a young age. King expressed her excitement and honor at being part of the brand in a social media post caption. She wrote, “Gratitude can’t begin to describe this feeling inside. No words can capture it… but I hope to be one more face looking back at you showing you what IS possible!!! Honored to be part of the L’Oréal Family.” King’s words align with the brand’s philosophy of “Because you’re worth it.” King will be a presenter at L’Oréal Paris’ Women of Worth celebration today, December 6, 2017.
