On May 22, 2017 in Washington, D.C., Cosmoprof North America (CPNA) was awarded the President's "E" Award, which recognizes companies, organizations or persons that contribute to the expansion of U.S. exports. This prestigious honor was awarded to 32 U.S. companies and organizations around the world who played a vital part in strengthening the nation's economy. Since 1961, under President Kennedy, the "E" Award has honored exporters that have proven to be valuable supporters to others that resulted in increased exports based on four years of successive export growth. U.S. exports accounted for $2.21 trillion last year, and supported an estimated 11.5 million jobs in the U.S. in 2015.
CPNA is the largest event of its kind in the Americas, and is a B2B beauty trade show that covers every facet of the beauty industry—with over 33,000 attendees last year alone. “Throughout the years, many companies have benefited from the services and support offered to CPNA exhibiting companies looking to expand distribution internationally,” says CPNA's marketing director Daniela Ciocan. “We are thrilled to be awarded such a distinguished recognition.
